Signed-in pages

If your app has a login, record it once. Regress signs in the same way before every scan, so it can test the pages your users actually use.

  1. Open Project settings

    Choose Record login session.

  2. Log in as you normally would

    A live browser opens on your app. Sign in with any provider, including Google, Microsoft, Okta, Auth0, other SSO and 2FA.

  3. Save

    Regress keeps the session it needs and replays it before each scan. Nothing else to set up.

Other ways to sign in

Recording works for almost every app. If yours needs something else, these are in the same settings panel.

Username and password
Regress fills in your login form. Supports 2FA codes from a shared TOTP secret.
Session capture
Run a command in your browser console and paste the exported session.
Bearer token
An API token or JWT sent as a header on every request.
Basic auth
A username and password sent as an HTTP Basic header.
Cookies
Specific cookie names and values set before the scan starts.
